Florindo Rubbettino

CEO of Rubbettino Editore, one of the most interesting publishing companies at national level, and of Rubbettino Graphic Industries, Florindo Rubbettino was born in Cosenza in 1971 and has a degree in Political Science with a thesis on “Book publishing in Southern Italy from the 19th century to today “. From 2008 to 2011 he directed “Qualeimpresa”, the national magazine of the Young Entrepreneurs of Confindustria and he is former President of the Young Entrepreneurs of Confindustria Calabria. He is professor of Editing in the Faculty of Communication Sciences at the University of Molise.

Franco Pomilio

ICS Chairman, coordinator of EuroMediterraNetwork and President of Pomilio Blumm. Trained in the United States, he has specialized in marketing at Harvard University, MIT and the INSEAD campus in Singapore, he has worked in major advertising corporations in the United States, the Middle East and Japan. Author of monographs La Repubblica della Comunicazione (The Republic of Communication, 2010), Comunicazione 3.0 (Communication 3.0, 2011) and Comunicare la trasparenza (Communicating transparency, 2013),  he has developed one of the most original theoretical models of communication between institutions and citizen-consumer.

Sahar Deljiani

Iranian writer, author of the bestseller Children of the Jacaranda Tree, Sahar Delijani was born in the Evin prison in Tehran in 1983, the same year in which her parents were arrested because of their political fight against the Islamic regime. Emigrated to California, Sahar Delijani attended the University of Berkeley, where she graduated in Comparative Literature.
Her works have appeared in various publications and literature magazines including The Battered Suitcase, Tryst, SliceMagazine, Prick of the Spindle, Perigee, Border Hopping, Berkeley Poetry Review and Sangam Review. She currently lives in Turin.

Maria Pia Pozzato

Maria Pia Pozzato is Associate Professor of Text Semiotics at the University of Bologna, where she was for long a researcher. She graduated in Philosophy and holds a Doctorate in Semiotics supervised by Umberto Eco. From 2007 to 2009 she was president of the Italian Association of Semiotic Studies (AISS). Among her recently published monographs: Semiotica del Testo (Carocci, 2012) and Foto di matrimoni e altri saggi (Bompiani, 2012).

Stefano Andreoli

Stefano Andreoli was born in Cesena in 1979. As a television scriptwriter he has worked with Roberto Benigni, Maurizio Crozza, Geppi Cucciari, Luca e Paolo, Fabio Volo. With Alessandro Bonino he has invented Spinoza.it, the most popular satirical website in Italy. He is one of the voices of “No comment”, the morning programme aired on Radio Monte Carlo.
