Blumm Prize Future Frames 2014
The Blumm Prize Future Frames is an international photography award focused on transparency between citizens and institutions and civic participation.
The theme of the award is “I belong”. It explores the relationship between civic society and institutions from the privileged perspective of the citizen, exploring values, identity and feelings of belonging to a community. “The concept of belonging to a citizenship, to a people, to a place, even when it’s no longer yours”.
The participation to the contest is only by invitation and is free of charge. It takes place each year and involves five artists of global relevance, regardless of age, contributing with 40 images maximum. The winner is entitled to a cash prize of € 3,000 and the opportunity to exhibit his/her works as part of an exhibition. The other 4 photographers, merely for having been selected, have the opportunity to exhibit 5 of their photographs during the opening ceremony.
